Irwin A. & Robert D. Goodman Aquatic Center

Since its opening in 2002, the 5,500 square foot outdoor Goodman Aquatic Center has become a favorite swim spot for both the Jewish and greater Madison area communities.

The pool’s six 25-meter lanes make it great for competition and lap swimming. And the zero-depth entry makes it easy for small children and those with wheelchairs or special needs to enter.

When swimmers are out of the water, the pool’s shaded area and deck chairs offer a great place to lounge with family and friends.

The pool is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. The general hours are 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekends, and 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekdays after Camp Shalom sessions.  Madison School and Community Recreation manages the pool, provides the lifeguards, and offers a variety of swim classes.

The Minkoff Recreation Center

The 12,000 square foot Minkoff Center is available for rental year round. The Center features a kosher kitchen, a second kitchen, meeting space, and showers.  The carpeted main room seats 250 theater style, 150 banquet style.  The barn party room seats 500 theater style, 250 banquet style.








Steven H. Morrison Community Court

The 5,000 square foot blacktop recreational area is perfect for basketball, dancing, and outdoor parties.

Activity trails

More than three miles of shaded trails for nature walks, hiking, biking, and running weave through the Campus.

Kfar Omanoot Arts & Crafts Building

The 1,200 square foot Kfar Omanoot building, which means arts and crafts center in Hebrew, includes Camp Shalom’s supply room and an indoor space for children’s play and projects.

The Goodman House

Our year-round 7,500 square foot recreational facility features three large meeting rooms, a smaller meeting room and office, a large recreation area, four unfurnished bedrooms, and a kosher kitchen.  The Goodman House is perfect for retreats, overnights, parties, and other events.
