Hanukkah starts at sundown on Sunday, December 18 - nightfall on Monday, December 26, and there are lots of ways to celebrate in our community - even a few opportunities before the holiday!

  • 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm - Israeli folk dancing (Rikudei Am)
  • 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm - Refreshments, including Sfenj (Moroccan doughnuts) and children's story
  • 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Menorah making and competition

Grand Chanukah Celebration

Sunday, December 18 at 4:00 pm
at Hilldale (on the green at the Apple store)

Chanukah celebration with grand menorah lighting, gelt drop, entertainment, music, latkes, doughnuts, and Chanukah swag. Governor Evers and Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Dallet will be lighting the menorah.

A Whole Latke Fun: Young Families Hanukkah Party

A latke and pasta bar with an assortment of toppings, a festive song session with Cantor Jacob Niemi, stories, dreidel spinning, cookie decorating, sufganiyot, Hanukkah-themed crafts, a scavenger hunt, and menorah lighting.
