Ivrit B'Kef (Hebrew Fun) ~ Time for Hebrew, Time for Fun!
Kindergarten – 2nd graders are invited to join Shlomit, our Community Shlicha, on a fun adventure through the Hebrew language. Shlomit will lead the students in a semester full of exciting sessions exploring the letters of the Aleph Bet and developing reading and writing skills through structured lessons, arts and crafts, movement, and more! No Hebrew language experience is necessary, all levels welcome.
Ivrit B'Kef will not be offered Fall 2019 due to low student enrollment.

Location 2018: Beth Israel Center, 1406 Mound Street, Madison, WI
Cost 2018: Semester 1 is $280 per student (14 classes) & Semester 2 is $260 per student (13 classes)
Sign up and pay for both semesters together for $520 per student (and get one free class session!)
Fee includes snacks and materials. Cost includes a $20 non-refundable processing fee per semester.

Weekly Programming Includes:
- Ochel - a light after-school snack to refresh everyone for learning together
- Ma’agal - group time for talking about the day of the week, weather, Hebrew month, weekly updates from the children, songs, and group games
- Limeedah - lessons of the day focused on the weekly theme involving fun worksheets, card games, vocabulary review, stories ,and more
- Tachanot - stations for kids to experience learning through various media such as crafts, videos, dance, games, and music
- Siyuum - closing activities and review
