Our talented staff uses a theme-based curriculum to encourage exploration and creativity. We integrate Jewish ideals and values through songs, stories, cooking, vocabulary and the tradition of mitzvot (good deeds).
Gan HaYeled is often a family’s first entrance into Madison’s Jewish community. We value the connections families make both inside and outside our classrooms. We encourage family visits for Shabbat and appreciate volunteers in the classroom and on field trips. We also offer informal gatherings for parents which include morning coffees, Shabbat potluck dinners and Havdalah celebrations. Our Gan HaYeled families also take an active role in Jewish community events, including the Hava Nagila Picnic, Purim carnival and Hanukkah Tzedakah Fair.
Our core program is divided into three classrooms. Our Bet program welcomes children who are 2 years old by September 1. Children with birthdays after September 1 can enroll if space is available. Children do not need to be toilet-trained to be in the Bet program. Our Gimel and Dalet classrooms serve students who are 3-5 years old and completely toilet trained.
