Community Hanukkah Tzedakah Craft Fair

Join the Jewish Federation of Madison, Beth Israel Center, Chabad of Madison, Congregation Shaarei Shamayim, Gan HaYeled Preschool, Madison Jewish Community Day School, Temple Beth El and the entire Jewish Community for Havdalah, Israeli Dancing and assorted tzedakah and craft activities.

Schedule of Events:
5:30 pm Arrival and Introductions
5:45 pm Havdalah led by the students from Madison Jewish Community Day School
5:55 pm Ceremonial Lighting of the Hanukkah Candles by the students from Gan HaYeled Preschool
6:00 pm Israeli Dancing with the Yonim Israeli Dance Troupe
6:20 pm Tzedakah and Craft fair
Light Dairy Dinner featuring bagels and sufganiyot
7:30 pm Community Challenge - use canned goods to create Hanukkah shapes such as dreidels and menorahs

Activities Include:
Decorating Hanukkah cookies, creating beaded stars and snowflakes to donate to the Goodman Center Food Pantry, painting with dreidels, experimenting with light and Hanukkah shapes, Hanukkah trivia quiz, creating Hanukkah shapes with Legos, writing letters to Lone Soldiers, making dreidel snow globes, Hanukkah nail art and more!

Event Food Drive:
Please bring canned and non-perishable goods to donate. We will be collecting these items for Goodman Community Center's Food Pantry. See what's needed >
And the more non-perishables you bring in to donate the better our designs will be for the Community Challenge.
