Shaarei Shamayim is pleased to host a series of three sessions led by educator and restorative justice practitioner, Rudy Bankston to view and discuss the film 13th. We will reflect on the legacy of slavery, the politics of mass incarceration, the representation of African Americans, and the stigma of being Black. Teens are welcome. There are only 25 spots, so please register soon. To help defray expenses, we request a contribution of $36 for members and $72 for non-members.
