Phillip Ratner will be presenting his vision for a new ark for the Congregation Shaarei Shamayim Community. Phillip Ratner, a distinguished artist of Judaic sculpture, painting, etched glass, tapestry, and numerous other mediums, will be presenting his vision for a new ark for the Congregation Shaarei Shamayim community. As founder of the Ratner Bible Museum in suburban Washington, D.C., he has developed over 250 works on the bible, as well as designed arks and synagogue interiors for many U.S. congregations as well as those abroad. In addition, Ratner has completed numerous public and private commissions, including work at the Statue of Liberty national park, the Ellis Island Museum, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
