Rabbi Laurie will present a curriculum that she wrote on her sabbatical for children, teens, and adults. After discussing the curricular framework, she will lead a discussion on the role of Israel in American Jewish life and explore the debates in the American Jewish community that have emerged in the past year. We will gather at 6:00 p.m. and have a brief Shabbat service at 6:15 p.m. There will be a vegetarian potluck dinner at 6:45 p.m. and the discussion at 7:30 p.m.
