A Biselle KlezKamp (ABKK) is a free event, held on the UW-Madison campus, that offers more than 20 lectures and participatory workshops on all aspects of Yiddish culture—language, history, visual arts, literature, popular culture, music, and dance, and an age-appropriate children’s program. ABKK culminates in the evening with a concert and dance party featuring live music. This event is lead by world-class artists and scholars from around the country who bring their expertise to the only local event of its kind that both increases Yiddish cultural literacy and develops a sense of community. No previous knowledge of Yiddish language or culture is necessary. 9:00 am - 5:30 pm: Classes, Lecutures and Workshops7:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Concerts and Dance Party For more information and to register:mayrentinstitute.wisc.edu A Biselle KlezKamp is a program of the UW-Madison Mayrent Institute for Yiddish Culture.
