"Beyle: The Artist and Her Legacy" is a new documentary film exploring the life and legacy of Yiddish activist and artist Beyle Schaechter-Gottesman, who became a central figure in the vibrant Yiddish world of the Bronx through her poetry, songs, and artwork. The film is produced by the Yiddish Book Center and its Wexler Oral History Project.
