Author Doug Moe on his latest book: Good Men, The Lives and Philanthropy of Irwin A and Robert D Goodman   9:30 am Brunch
10 am Talk by Doug Moe with Q & A

Doug Moe is a lifelong Madisonian and has worked as a journalist in the city for nearly four decades. For the last 18 years he has written a daily newspaper column about the city, most recently for the Wisconsin State Journal. Prior to that, he was editor of Madison Magazine. He has been named Madison's best writer or columnist in reader polls more than a dozen times. He is the author of numerous books, including "The World of Mike Royko," a Chicago Tribune Choice Selection of the Year, and "Lords of the Ring: The Triumph and Tragedy of College Boxing's Greatest Team," runner-up for the August Derleth Award as best non-fiction book of the year by a Wisconsin author. He is currently working with former Wisconsin governor Tommy G. Thompson on Thompson's autobiography. Co-sponsored by Temple Beth El Men's Club.
