Climate change is an important driver of human migration, as catastrophic flooding, drought-induced crop failures, and other events displace people from their homes. Dr. Angie Dickens is an environmental scientist who has worked at the interface of environmental science and policy at the Environmental Protection Agency, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and a six-state regional planning organization. She also leads a social justice group at Christ Presbyterian Church. She will discuss how climate change is impacting different parts of the world and how it affects migration. She will also help us explore ways that we can respond to these crises as people of faith. This event is co-sponsored by the Dane Sanctuary Coalition.
