PLEASE JOIN US for a service of remembrance and to honor local Holocaust survivors and their families. This service will be held on Zoom with Jewish community members and rabbis participating. While we will not all be able to assemble physically in one place, we can continue to honor the memories of those lost in the Shoah and honor our Madison community members. We will light candles for the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust and hear the familiar words and melodies associated with the observance. Let us not allow our distance from one another stop us from commemorating this meaningful tradition.
To Attend
Register, and we will email you the Zoom link, password, and call-in information. You can additionally submit the name(s) of someone in whose honor or memory you would like us to light a candle for and a few words about them with your registration.
In addition, we look forward to rescheduling the postponed traditional in-person Yom HaShoah Service and Program featuring Professor Samuel Kassow, author of Who Will Write our History: Emanuel Ringelblum and the Secret Ghetto Archive as soon as we are are able.
