Family Support Series Regarding COVID-19: Where do we go from here?
Please attend our family support series with panel discussions to hear about community information and resources related to mental health, education and physical health during this time of COVID-19. This program is co-sponsored by Jewish Social Services of Madison (JSS) and the Jewish Federation of Madison (JFM). We will discuss issues related to mental health, education, and physical health. Please join us for one panel or for all.

Mental Health: Caring for Yourself and Your Family during COVID

Sarah Byer, MA, LPC-IT, will share ways to help create balance, mange anxiety and pin point warning signs on when additional assistance is needed/useful. Sarah will also discuss the normalcy of regression during a time of stress and uncertainty. Sarah is a therapist at Westside Psychotherapy. More about Sarah >

Kim Sines, the manager of Project Recovery will share information and access to this new, free community based program. Project Recovery is designed to meet the emotional needs of the community, specifically related to COVID-19.

Preregistration is strongly encouraged. If you sign up for the first session, we will make sure that you receive information about future sessions. A recording of the panel will be available for viewing on both the Jewish Social Services and Jewish Federation of Madison websites after its live stream.

Join Marla Becker, Gan HaYeled Director and teacher and Zach Galin, Founder, President and College Admissions Counselor of Galin Education, as they share ways to keep kids engaged in virtual learning, ways to support outside the box educating and even how during these uncertain times kids can thrive. Marla and Zach will take questions so please send ahead of time so they can be addressed!
