Speaker: Lori Bessler, Wisconsin Historical Society

Family trees can collapse the years and show us on a few sheets of paper who our ancestors were, when they lived, and who their children were. In today’s digital age, you can access dozens of specialized data sources to find details about your family’s past. Learn where and how to search for this information and build your own family tree, a gift you and your children will treasure. Lori Bessler has worked at the Wisconsin Historical Society Library Archives since 1988. She is a reference librarian and outreach coordinator. Lori has lectured throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest on genealogical topics for over 30 years and has been researching family history for over 40 years. She specializes in breaking down brick walls and finding hard-to-find resources.
