Shavuot is the holiday when we celebrate, according to tradition, the revelation of Torah at Mt. Sinai. Evening services including our Yizkor observance will commence at Temple Beth El at 6:00 pm, followed by a dairy oneg.

Then you are invited to join a community of learners to go to Beth Israel Center for a program co-sponsored by Temple Beth El, Beth Israel Center, Congregation Shaarei Shamayim, and the Jewish Federation of Madison on the topic "Rethinking Receiving: What Could/Should We Be Doing Differently with Torah, Community, and Ourselves," beginning at 7:30 pm.
