Get down and dirty with BIC volunteers by helping grow fresh produce for Madison food pantries!

We will volunteer at Forward Farm to do whatever gardening is needed on that day, while socializing with BIC friends and nature lovers. Volunteers of all abilities and ages are welcome; please supervise your own children.

You can also stay for an optional 30-minute walking tour of the Forward Farm to learn more about the food pantry project. Our garden hosts will show us around from 11:00 am -11:30 am.

All tools are provided, but bringing your own work gloves, water bottle, and sunscreen is encouraged. Signing the Volunteer Waiver is required.

Forward Farm is located at 7492 W. Old Sauk Road in Madison: Turn into the driveway from Old Sauk Road, at the top of the hill and across the street from a blue water tower, where the red "Garden Parking" sign will be placed. Once on the property, continue up the driveway beyond the blacktop and past the giant sunflower. Park in the grass parking lot just north of the white fence and meet just north of the big white barn.

This event is a go, unless there is a thunderstorm. Email hoffman@bethisraelcenter.org to sign up to attend.
