Kick off summer with our annual community celebration with fun for all ages!

Rain or Shine. If there is inclement weather, the Hava Nagila Jewish Community Picnic will take place indoors in the Minkoff Center at the Goodman Jewish Community Campus.

Activities Include:

• Inflatable obstacle course and derby race
• Swimming at the Goodman Aquatic Center (free admission and access during this event)
  Summer 2024 pool memberships and day passes will be available for purchase online or at the pool.
• Pre-purchase pizza or hummus box lunch and snacks during registration (see details below)
  A limited amount of food will be available for purchase on the day of the event while supplies last; concessions will also be available for purchase at the pool.
• Dedication of Judy Schreiber Way (at 2:00 pm - see details below)
• Ballon Artists (12:00 pm - 2:00 pm)
• Basketball Game for 8 years and up (1:00 pm - 2:00 pm)
• Create and decorate a summer journal with PJ Library of Madison to write your own story over the summer, packed with your adventures, field notes, quotes, pictures, jokes, and more
• Hike the trails. Follow our new orienteering map of the campus with a scavenger hunt and collect a prize when you solve the word scramble by finding all the items.
• A variety of outdoor games and activities - including basketball, gaga, playground, giant Jenga, cornhole/bag toss, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and more
• Indoor chill zone with board games, puzzles, and Legos
• Fun giveaways, including foldable flyers and refreshing ice pops
• Relaxing and schmoozing in nature

Volunteers Wanted!
Help make the fun happen by volunteering to set up, welcome and check in attendees, run the food table (i.e., hand out pizza and snacks), monitor the inflatable activities, take photos, and clean up.

Honoring the Memory of Judy Schreiber z"l
At 2:00 pm, we will have a special dedication ceremony for the newly named "Judy Schreiber Way" at the Goodman Jewish Community Campus. Judy was an active leader in the Madison Jewish community, including at the Jewish Federation of Madison, where she was a longtime board member and past president, served as the interim executive director, the Annual Tzedakah Campaign chair three times, and on several board committees.

Pizza lunch

• $5 includes two slices of cheese pizza (regular or gluten-free crust), a fruit, baby carrots, and one drink*.
• $3 includes one slice of cheese pizza (regular or gluten-free crust), a fruit, baby carrots, and one drink*.

Hummus box lunch

• $5 includes a kosher/vegan boxed lunch with hummus, gluten-free crackers, a fruit, baby carrots, one drink*, and one bag of kettle corn. Items in this option are prepackaged and certified kosher.
   

Drink + snack

• $2 includes one drink*, and a choice of a fruit + baby carrots, or one bag of popcorners chips or kettle corn.
