What is Humanistic Judaism? Is it "atheist Judaism" -- and, if so, isn't that an oxymoron? Why do some people find it a good alternative to the other choices available in the Jewish religious world?
Come meet other people interested in learning more about Humanistic Judaism in Madison. Rabbi Miriam Jerris of the Society for Humanistic Judaism will be our very special guest.
We plan to gather at 1:00 pm to get to know one another and have a little nosh.
At about 1:30 pm, we'll share our individual reasons for being curious about this particular branch of Judaism. Rabbi Jerris will be providing us with valuable information and informative handouts.
We will conclude by deciding what -- if anything -- we want to do next.
RSVP is not required.
