Lorrie Klemons, a healthcare consultant from Charlotte, N.C., will be sharing her expertise with our community in this two-part series.

On Thursday evening, July 25, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm, Lorrie will lead us in a lively and dynamic conversation about Becoming An Empowered Healthcare Consumer: You Have A Voice...Use it! Join us for this journey of patient-senior empowerment. What do you need to know to be empowered? What do you need to ask? Who do you need to ask it to? Why do you need a patient advocate? What is the role of the patient advocate?

On Sunday morning, July 28, 9:15 am -10:45 am, Lorrie will continue the conversation with a discussion about Important Life Conversations: Are You Having Them? These conversations are critical throughout the birth-death continuum to promote the meeting of individual participant needs.

Each attendee will receive an email version of Lorrie's booklet, ALL ABOUT ME, a legacy gift for your children, grandchildren, future generations and caregivers.

Lorrie Klemons, MSN, RN, CDP, is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Patient-Senior Advocate, Healthcare Navigator, Senior Lifestyle Consultant, Educator, Speaker, Author, Warrior Mom.
