About Roundtable Speakers


Jesse Sondel, veterinarian and owner of Sondel Family Veterinary Clinic. Founded in 2012, SFVC provides medical, surgical and dental care to companion animals. Jesse is proud to have been awarded “Best of Madison” veterinarian by Madison Magazine every year since opening his clinic.

Jamie Gepner is the Founder and CEO of little om BIG OM, where she and her team of instructors bring fun yoga and mindfulness classes to kids and families around the Madison area. little om BIG OM teaches yoga and mindfulness to help kids strengthen their bodies and minds to increase awareness and focus, improve physical fitness, reduce stress and increase confidence. Jamie lives in Middleton with her three energetic kids and is the founder of a networking group for local “mamapreneuers” called BOSS MAMA.

Dan Weiss is a co-founder of Leach, Bickmore & Weiss Wealth Management, LLC (“LBW”). Dan, along with his partners at LBW, are changing the perception and utilization of wealth management and wealth development, by providing an unparalleled level of service, and offering a higher degree of in-depth expertise.

Laila Borokhim is the owner, chef, wait staff and everything else at Layla’s, specializing in Persian food.

Zach Galin, our moderator for the panel, is the owner of Galin Education and has spent over a decade working independently with students and families in the college admissions process. From test preparation to college matching, applications, and financial aid, Zach has helped students gain acceptance to their top choice schools.

Isaac Showaki is our host for the evening and the owner of Octopi Brewery.
