"Is There a Partner for Peace?"
A New Series: Jewish Dialogue on the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
Would you like to have a constructive, respectful conversation with other Jewish community members whose views about Israel and the Israeli-Palestinian situation differ from your own? Are you interested in talking about your experiences, feelings, convictions, and questions in an environment that promotes mutual learning?
Join us for a unique dialogue moderated by Harry Webne-Behrman, a professional mediator. Our theme for this month is "Is there a Partner for Peace?" We will examine how Israelis, Palestinians, and others understand and answer this question.
This program is generously funded by an Innovation Grant from the Jewish Federation of Madison and co-sponsored by Congregation Shaarei Shamayim, Temple Beth El, Beth Israel Center, Jewish Federation of Madison, and UW Hillel.
Registration is required and space is limited. To sign up or learn more please e-mail: office@shamayim.org.
Save the date for future dialogues: May 12, September 14, and November 16.
