Please join us for a service of remembrance and to honor local Holocaust survivors and their families, led by clergy and members of the Jewish community of Greater Madison. Following the service, there will be a special program on “Shoah sites revealed by subsurface imaging: case studies from synagogues to killing fields” led by Harry Jol, a Professor within the Department of Geography and Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, who has conducted research with ground penetrating radar at more than 1500+ sites worldwide.
We hope you will be able to join us in person for this meaningful community commemoration. The event will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person. The livestream link will be sent out a few days before the event. During registration, you may submit the names of people you want to memorialize for Rabbi Forester to read at the service. Additional names to be memorialized may be added at the service.
