Rabbi Laurie Zimmerman will walk participants through Jewish rituals following death. She will cover practical issues such as working with a funeral home and choosing a cemetery, explain the customs of tahara and shmirah, and discuss different ways of observing shiva and engaging in a mourning process. This session is for people who generally want to learn more, as well as for those who are considering end of life arrangements for themselves or a loved one.
