Fall colors are often at their peak by mid-October. Join us for a woodland walk to enjoy peak fall colors and explore a corner of the arboretum that many frequent visitors have never seen. Wingra Woods include Indian mounds, a beautiful savannah, meandering springs, and skunk cabbage bridge. Everyone welcome

Meet at Wingra Springs Parking lot, 1/2 from visitor center.

Wingra Woods is most easily reached from the east entrance to the Arboretum on Arboretum Drive. From the intersection of Haywood and North Wingra Drives (near St. Mary's Hospital). Follow Arboretum drive past the residential area until you reach Wingra Springs Parking Lot on your right.
