Rabbi Ariella Graetz-Bartuv of Kehillat Emet veShalom, an Israeli congregation that has a longtime relationship with Temple Beth El, and her sister, Avigail Graetz, participate in the Domim Project, which connects US and Israeli congregations. Rabbi Graetz-Bartuv, a Reform rabbi married to an Orthodox man of Iraqi descent, will discuss the complications of growing up in a stream of Judaism unrecognized by the state of Israel. Avigail, a self-defined Buddhist and mindfulness teacher, will share her book, "A Rabbis Daughter", about growing up as the daughter of a well-known Conservative rabbi in Israel. Join us as they approach their topic with humor and emotion.

Please bring your own lunch, along with any questions you may have.

Avigail's book, "A Rabbi's Daughter" will be available for purchase.
