ABOUT METALLIC BLUES: Two Israeli partners in a second hand car dealership become the unexpected owners of a 1985 Lincoln Continental limo. A German collector will pay a fortune for the car if only they can transport it and themselves to Germany to close the deal.
Billed as a comedy/drama, fraught with unanticipated difficulties, the men move into a new stage in their relationship with each other, with their present personal relationships with others, and with their past as Israelis tied to victims of the Holocaust. The film raises important and timely questions for each of us.
Run time: 1 hour, 26 minutes
