Our Sunday morning speaker series featuring the voices of our community will kick off 5782 with Danny Goldman presenting the first in a series of congregational learning opportunities about comforting mourners called Nichum Aveilium: Shifting Shiva. This program will be hybrid -- in person at BIC and on Zoom.

Danny will speak about the range of needs that individuals may have in the week following a funeral and begin to explore how our community can best support those needs. Rabbi Betsy will also speak briefly about how we hope to improve our practices, setting the stage for upcoming learning sessions in the weeks following this Kolot Kehilla program.

In his 15 years as a clinical therapist, Danny has worked with a broad range of human development and experience, ranging from childhood to end of life. Formally trained in several evidence-based psychotherapies, he has a wealth of clinical experience to share.

Please RSVP to office@bethisraelcenter and let us know if you plan to come in person or would like the Zoom link.
