Lil Rev is a Milwaukee based songwriter, storyteller, historian and educator who has a fascination with all things ukulele and harmonica. He is sharing his wholesome family and adult friendly knowledge and energy with us on April 24, our last day of Religious School. Lil' Rev will join us for a "Thank You Teachers" song circle, share his knowledge of Jews 'n Blues, and put on a highly participatory family and adult friendly concert. Mark your calendar to join us Sunday morning, April 24!

10:00 am - 10:30 am: Jews ‘n Blues – for all Temple Beth El adults. An upbeat one-man show celebrates the crossroads where Jews and African-American cultures influenced one another. Spanning the earliest days of jazz and ragtime to the boogie-woogie & jump blues of the 1940's and 50's, this cultural fusion has continued to be a celebrated foundation upon which all other popular music styles rest.

11:15 am - 12:15 am: Highly participatory concert of song, story, poetry and lore for the entire Madison Community. Invite your friends to join us for this free and interactive concert.
