The tipping point: Making meaningful strides in the debate about gun legislation
In the wake of yet another mass school shooting in February, many are asking: Is this a turning point? What (if anything) will change in our cultural attitudes about gun ownership and reasonable safety measures?
Jennifer Rosen Heinz, Shaarei Shamayim member and Madison Group Lead for Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, will share insight into what has happened behind the scenes in the gun debates since Sandy Hook five years ago, and where her organization sees the future of meaningful reform and action. She will lay out how strategic communication and targeting of issues is actually moving the needle forward and offer ways for individuals to get involved locally and nationally in advocating for gun sense legislation.
Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America is a grassroots, non-partisan organization which advocates for common sense gun safety legislation to help keep our families and communities safe.
