2:30 pm - 3:30 pm: Rikudei Am (Israeli folk dancing), including a song for Hannukah, led by Sam Toso, Programming / Camp Shalom Director
3:30 pm - 4:00 pm: - Eating Sfenj (Morrocan donuts, using the family recipe of Hanna Bloch, Jewish Federation of Madison Community Shlicha) and other snacks, with hot drinks including coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. There will be an Israeli children's story about Hannukah reading for the kids. During this time, the adults can socialize and enjoy casual conversation or interactive activities.
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Menorah Making & Competition. Each family, couple, individual, or team will create a menorah they can use during the holiday itself. All the supplies will be provided. You'll have 50 minutes to work on your menorah, and at the end, we'll hold a competition and decide who the winners are in different categories - teamwork, creativity, ruach (spirit), size, stability, beauty, etc.
