Help us prepare and serve a nourishing meal for Madison's homeless population on Saturday, January 20, 2018, 12:00-1:00 pm (please arrive by 11:50 am) at The Beacon, 615 E Washington Ave. This is a great opportunity for teens and pre-teens to get service hours!
Shaarei Shamayim has offered to support the work of Friends of the State Street Family (FSSF), an umbrella group serving the many needs of our neighbors experiencing homelessness. We need volunteers to help provide and serve a meal one Saturday every other month.
Alternatively, there are many things can be made or shopped for ahead of time and would make wonderful group projects for friends, families, or havurot. Our community has done this before - please reach out to our well-seasoned volunteers for suggestions and support!
