In this program, we will first listen together to Rabbi Angela Warnick Buchdahl's Kol Nidre sermon “We Are Family: Rethinking Race in the Jewish Community,” followed by breakout discussion groups on the concept of race, particularly as perceived by Jews toward Jews. Rabbi Buchdahl, the first ordained Asian American rabbi and cantor, serves as the senior rabbi at Central Synagogue in New York City.
