Where else can you taste chocolates, sip beer, and engage in a mitzvah project that will benefit a whole nation?! Where else can you connect to your people’s history of the last 3,000 years, and be able to upload your reactions to your favorite social network within moments?! Where else can you enjoy a hearty buffet breakfast, travel to the lowest altitude location on the planet, and climb a 1,300 foot mountain all within the span of a few hours?
Israel is that place, and the Temple Beth El family is headed to Israel next August. We hope you will join us! As part of our Temple Beth El’s 75th Anniversary year, we will travel to Israel with Beth El members, old and young, where we will be savor the sights, sounds, scents, and ambience of our ancient homeland. Throughout this bulletin you will find reactions and photographs of our members who have traveled on our previous synagogue trips, to give you an idea of the fun, education, and camaraderie that we had. You can check this website for the information about and itinerary for our trip:http://www.arzaworld.com/temple-beth-el-madison-2014-israel-trip.aspx for the details. We will hold an informational meeting on Sunday, November 10, from 12 Noon to 1:30 PM, and we hope you can come to learn about the trip and to ask your questions. Please RSVP for the November 10 meeting to Sue Knudson at 238-3123 or office@templebethelmadison.org.
