“The Five Houses of Lea Goldberg” is an intriguing documentary about one of Israel’s iconic poets. Lea Goldberg “reinvented herself from the ashes of WWI” to become one of Israel’s most beloved poets. The film raises questions about art, and about the place of women, particularly single women, in society (Lea never married). It is a beautiful commentary on the most private emotional lives of so many women.
