A Purim Shpiel Parody to the music of the Lion King written by the author of last year’s smash hit “The Scroll of Purim.” Appropriate for all ages. Costumes encouraged. Bring a box of mac & cheese or other boxed pasta to use as a grogger (noise maker), to then be donated to a food pantry. Hamantashen to follow.

Come out to see and support our talented cast:
Esther: Jackie Forman
Mordechai: Jennifer Szlasa
Achashverosh: Mark Anderson
Haman: Les Goldsmith
Chorus: Judie Herstand, Marc Herstand, Jim Frenkel
Director: Judy Dolnick
Author & Conductor: David Hoffert

MAKE SOME NOISE—It’s a Mitzvah
It’s a mitzvah to give portions to the less fortunate on Purim, and we’re commanded to blot out the name of bad guy as we hear the reading of the Book of Esther. So, we’re asking you to bring boxed macaroni and cheese or pasta to use as a grogger (noise maker) at “The Purim Queen”. We will have a collection bin out in the Temple Foyer for these donations to the Goodman Food Pantry.
