Make Cards and Purim Bags for Older Adults in Our Community

Immediately following the Community Purim Carnival, join us for lunch while we do a mitzvah (good deed). Head downstairs at Beth Israel Center to make Mishloach Manot (Purim gift bags) for older adults in our community. We will assemble gift bags, make cards, and learn about the Purim mitzvah of taking care of one another. Kids will also be able to make a small bag to take home to share with family or a friend.

A free buffet-style lunch (Kosher - deli meat, with vegetarian, GF options) will be provided to all participants.

This volunteer opportunity is limited to 30 participants, and RSVP is required. You do not need to attend the Purim carnival to participate.

We will also need several volunteers to help deliver the bags to the recipients. Please let Marni know if you would be interested in delivering a few bags on your way home.

For questions, or to RSVP, email Marni at engage@jewishmadison.org.

This event is co-sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Madison and Jewish Social Services.
