CANCELED - At 1:00 pm: Baseball is not only about skill; it’s about diversity, respect, and Jewish values. Baseball—and sports in general—has a lot to teach us about our Jewishness both on and off the field. Join Nicole A. Jahr, RJE, in exploring Jewish texts and famous American baseball players who changed the history of the game, and boost your trivia knowledge about baseball in Israel. “Step up to the plate” and register now for this experience for teens and adults exploring the sport of baseball with a Jewish lens.

Starting at 2:00 pm we’ll have a series of Pride-related activities as well as general outdoor fun. Come tie-dye your own TBE shirt, make a friendship bracelet (or pony bead bracelet), toss a Frisbee or ball around, and do some LGBTQ+ advocacy while enjoying some snacks. We welcome you wearing your favorite Pride gear, baseball gear, or fairytale gear, or just what you’re comfortable in for a day at the park. A TBE shirt for you to tie-dye is included with your registration. You’re welcome to bring up to two other items to tie-dye as well (100% cotton or rayon, prewashed). Organized by our Pride planning team!

In the 3-o’clock hour we’ll walk to the Duck Pond for Fairytale Night at the Mallards game. We thank the TBE Men’s Club for organizing this portion of our afternoon. Your game ticket comes with a Mallards hat as part of our group.

Come as you are, in your best rainbow gear, or as your favorite fairytale for a Sunday fun day!
