Nick Balster is a Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Department of Soil Science with affiliate faculty status in the Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology and the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies.
Dr. Balster’s lab studies and actively publishes on the interactions between plants and soils that control the cycling of energy and materials on Earth.
