Join us for a ceremony to commemorate Yom HaZikaron, Israel's Memorial Day. Yom HaZikaron is the day of national remembrance in Israel to commemorate all the soldiers and people who lost their lives during the struggle to defend the State of Israel. On this day, we mourn and remember fallen soldiers and all lives lost by terror in Israel.

This year, we will be reflecting on 50 years after the Yom Kippur War (1973). The evening's commemoration will include meaningful music, stories, and participation by Madison clergy, Cantor Jacob Niemi from Temple Beth El, and Rabbi Betsy Forester from Beth Israel Center.

If you would like to share a story about the war or a soldier during the ceremony, please note it on the registration form or by emailing Hanna at israel@jewishmadison.org.

Child care is available with registration by April 21.
