With great sadness, we write to inform you of the death of Barbara Landau, mother of Russ (Susan) Shafer-Landau, Shari Landau (Jonathan Cohen), and Todd (Michelle) Landau; grandmother of Max (Elissa), Sophie, Zoë, Jonah (Kim), Ellie, and Gaia (Mash). Barbara passed away on Tuesday, September 23, at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg.  

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 26, at 1:00 pm at Beit Olamim/Sunset Memorial Gardens, 7302 Mineral Point Rd., Madison.

A shivah minyan led by Rabbi Betsy Forester will be held on Sunday, September 28, at the home of Russ & Susan Shafer-Landau, 3415 Viburnum Dr., Madison. The family will receive visitors from 4:00-7:00 pm, with shivah minyan beginning at 7:00 pm. We offer sincere condolences to the Landau, Shafer-Landau, and Cohen families.
