With great sadness, we write to inform you of the death of Barbara Tuerkheimer, wife of Frank Tuerkheimer (z'' l), mother of Deborah Tuerkheimer (Dylan Smith) and Alan Tuerkheimer (Lisa Weiss), and grandmother of Max, Leo, Jacob, and Lizzy. Barbara passed away on Wednesday, May 20, in New York.

A private funeral service for Barbara will take place in New York. Arrangements for a memorial service in Madison are pending and will be announced later.

We offer sincere condolences to the Tuerkheimer, Smith, and Weiss families.
