With great sadness, we write to inform you of the death of Bela Flax, mother of Inna Gurevic and grandmother of Ilya Gurevic. Bela passed away at the age of 100 on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, in Madison, WI.

The burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Chabad of Madison, the Jewish Federation of Madison, Jewish Social Services of Madison, and Wisconsin Public Media. We offer our sincere condolences to the Flax and Gurevic families.
