With great sadness, we write to inform you of the death on January 2 of Donald Rubin, husband of Ellen Kotler, father of Joshua (Sarah) and Penina Rubin, grandfather of Elijah. Don is also survived by his brothers, Rick and Andy (Annette) Rubin, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was 71.

Don was a member of Congregation B'nai Moshe in West Bloomfield, Michigan, which held an online memorial service on Tuesday, January 5 at 9:00 am CT.

The family will observe shiva with Congregation B'nai Moshe until Shabbat. Shiva minyan will be at 4:00 CT on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

After Shabbat, Joshua, Penina, and other members of the family will observe shiva with Beth Israel Center. Please join Beth Israel Center and help make the minyan on Saturday, January 9 at 6:15 pm and Sunday, January 10 at 5:45 pm.
