Dr. Robert Samuel Klugman

With great sadness, we write to inform you that Dr. Robert Samuel Klugman died on February 25 in Israel, which he had called home since making Aliyah in 1976, beloved husband of Leonie and father to Alan (Orly), Shari (Deborah), Richard (Cornelia), and Meron. He was the proud grandfather to Nadav (Brett), Sarit (Jeremy), Evan, Chen, Liad, and Oda – ecstatic great-grandfather to Cyrus and Peri.

A prosthodontist by profession, he mentored generations of graduate students in NYC and then Jerusalem, Israel. He was one of Israel’s pioneers in the use of dental implants.

He was 88. Burial will be in Shoresh, Israel on Monday, March 1.

There will be a Shivah minyan in Robert's memory on Thursday, March 4 at 4:00 pm Central Time, on Zoom. Email office@tbemadison.org for Zoom link.

Messages of condolence can be sent to Alan Klugman at executivedirector@jewishmadison.org.

May Robert's memory be for a blessing.
