The Jewish Federation of Madison mourns the loss of Frances "Fran" Lipton Weinstein; wife of Laurence A. Weinstein (z"l): We offer condolences to the extended families (Weinstein, Minkoff, Kerlow, Lange, Murrow). Together with her late husband Laurence, Fran’s extraordinary commitment to the Jewish community left a legacy in so many places within our Madison Jewish community and beyond. Together, they created a vision that she continued to nurture after his death.

A memorial service will be held for Fran on Wednesday, March 12, at 11:00 am at Temple Beth El, 2702 Arbor Dr., Madison. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, 1 Speedway Rd., Madison. Shiva minyan services will be held Wednesday, March 12, at 121 North Oak Grove, Madison. Please come at 5:30 pm to share memories of Frances; services will begin at 6:45 pm.

Sunday, March 16, Monday, March 17, and Tuesday, March 18 at 6:30 pm, at 2325 Kendall Ave, please do not bring food to Kendall Ave.
