With great sadness, we write to inform you of the death of Joel Marcus. Joel is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Marcus, his brother, Steven Marcus Benson, and his cousin, Steve Schwartz. Joel was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and George Marcus. Joel passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026.

Those who wish to participate in the mitzvah of shmira, sitting with the deceased in the hours leading up to burial, may sign up to help at this link. Shmira will begin this evening, Sunday, March 29, at 7:00 pm and continue until close to the funeral.
