The Jewish Federation of Madison would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims in the shooting at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina.

This horrific attack of hatred was appalling and intolerable. Violence such as this, directed at innocent people in their house of worship, is an affront to all humanity.

We stand together in solidarity with the African American community and continue to condemn and denounce all acts of hatred.
