We are thrilled to announce that Logan Bookstaff has been named the new Director of Camp Shalom Noar-Bogrim (NOBO) at the Jewish Federation of Madison.
Logan is no stranger to NOBO or to Camp Shalom. He began his Camp Shalom journey in 2018 and spent six summers there through 2023, becoming known for his enthusiasm, creativity, and connection with middle school campers. Most recently, Logan has served as the Assistant Director at Camp Shalom, further strengthening his dedication to camp leadership and the Shalom community. Now, he is excited to bring his experience back to NOBO in a new capacity.
“I am so excited to return to NOBO to continue my own personal journey of growth in the Jewish community and to give back to a place that means so much to me,” shared Logan.
Logan is particularly eager to reconnect with the middle school campers he loves working with. He looks forward to dreaming up fun and engaging offsite trips, fostering meaningful overnight experiences, and creating a summer filled with growth, joy, and adventure. While he plans to maintain the signature NOBO culture that campers know and love, he is excited to bring fresh energy and creativity to the program.
A lifelong Madisonian, Logan grew up in the local Jewish community and continues to be actively involved in its programs and initiatives. Outside of camp, you’ll likely find him running, traveling, or relaxing with a good video game.
Please join us in welcoming Logan back to NOBO, this time as our Director! We can’t wait for an incredible summer under his leadership.
